What We Are....
The Hot Iron Dust Up is Massachusetts’ very own vintage drag event, held annually on Father’s Day weekend. It celebrates traditional hot rods, vintage motorcycles and pays homage to the early days of Grassroots racing, offering an authentic motorsports experience with something for everyone!!
How it Began....
The inaugural year in 2025 began as a simple experiment in a gravel lot. Inspired by the growing love for vintage racing events across the Northeast, the debut of Dust Up was beyond expectations, shaped by the vintage racing community who got behind this crazy idea, and leap of faith! HOT IRON DUST UP OR BUST!

The Hot Iron Dust Up has grown steadily, fueled by the passion and dedication of our community. Each year, we hope to deepen our roots, refining the event experience while staying true to our grassroots origins. Our vision is to continue growing sustainably, welcoming more participants and fans, and strengthening the bonds that make this event a unique and cherished tradition every Father’s Day weekend!

EVENT SCHEDULE:
Friday June 19th
Gates will open @ 9am to all Racers and Vendors for set up and race prep. Overnight weekend guests are welcome as well. Be advised: The venue has NO utility hookups so come prepared. The surrounding area also offers many lodging options all within close proximity to the venue.
Saturday June 20th
Gates @ 8am
Racers Meeting @ 9:30am
Open Class Racing/Practice 10:00am- until Dusk
Live Music With 'BIG JON SHORT" 7pm-10pm
Sunday June 21st
Gates @ 8am
Racers Meeting @ 9:30am
Bracket and Grudge Matches 10am-5pm
(YES! you will still be able to open run all day during the brackets)
Tickets: Weekend Pass $25 (Includes camping) Single Day Pass $15 (Kids 6 and under-FREE)
Live Music!
In between all the dust and action on the track, kick back and enjoy live music throughout the weekend featuring Big Jon Short, The Silver String Slingers and More.
Additionally: The hot Iron Dust Up has a few other attractions planned for this year, adding to the vintage motorsports experience!!
